API architecture

Backend engineer at TaskUs · Pune, India
I design and scale REST and GraphQL APIs with Node.js and NestJS — microservices, real-time data pipelines, and the infrastructure that keeps them fast under load.

Backend Engineer
Three and a half years building backend systems that carry real traffic. Most of my work is API design and the architecture underneath it: NestJS services talking over Kafka and Redis queues, Prisma schemas that hold up as products grow, and payment and messaging integrations that cannot afford to fail quietly. I have led a backend team through code review, mentoring and release discipline, I started out enriching product data at eClerx, which is where the habit of checking things properly comes from. I care most about the unglamorous part — systems that stay fast and predictable in production.

Kafka for high-throughput event streaming, Redis-backed queues for async work, and Socket.IO for low-latency bidirectional messaging.
Code review, mentoring and release discipline. I have led a backend team through delivery while keeping quality and deployment health steady.
